For James, tax advice is ultimately about people. As a Chartered Tax Adviser, he specialises in Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Inheritance Tax, helping clients make informed decisions about their wealth, businesses and future plans.

James enjoys getting to know his clients and understanding what matters most to them and focuses on providing clear, practical advice without unnecessary jargon.

His greatest satisfaction comes from helping clients resolve concerns and move forward with confidence, knowing they have a trusted adviser by their side. James joined the firm in 2018 and has over 25 years of accounts and tax experience.

Outside of work, James is heavily involved in supporting local charities and not-for-profit organisations including as a Trustee for Beacon House, a member of the Colchester Forum Rotary Club (including serving as President in 2025/26) and setting up a local community shop which is run entirely by volunteers. James was also the National President for Junior Chamber International UK in 2020.
